Our laser marking and pin marking machines can be equipped with shuttlefeeds and pick-and-place systems for automated nameplate marking. Use our laser or pin marking software to program date codes, serial numbers, 2D data matrix, 2D barcodes, logos or any sequence of characters and numbers, then watch as our automated feeders move the nameplates in and out of the marking field.

Our shuttle feed and pick-and place systems accommodate nameplates with a minimum thickness of 0.020 inches (aluminum), or 0.018 inches (stainless steel). Nameplate sizes can range from 0.5" x 1" up to 4" x 4". For larger nameplates, shuttle feeds can be custom designed.

For information on our fully-automated nameplate feeders and custom options, call us at 847-647-7117.

Automated Nameplate Marking

Our automated shuttlefeed can be attached to our laser marking and pin marking machines. They hold dozens of nameplates in a magazine on one end and shuttles a nameplate into the marking field where the nameplate is marked. After the mark is complete, the marked nameplate is pushed out of the marking field while the next nameplate is shuttled from the magazine and into the marking field.

The pick-and-place stacks several different-sized nameplates. The system then picks up a nameplate according to its programming and places it into the marking field. After the mark is complete, the system pushes the marked nameplate out of the marking place, then picks up the next nameplate to be marked.

Our Pick-and-Place systems can be installed on our laser marking and pin marking machines.
