IMTS 2022 PREVIEW: THE STYLINER MARK4 AND STINGER PIN MARKING MACHINES
Dot peen pin marking is a versatile technology. It is capable of producing shallow and deep marks on a variety of materials, including most metals and some plastics. We manufacture two lines of pin marking machines: our column-mounted Styliner Mark3 and Mark4, and the handheld Styliner Stinger series. To make marking easier, all our Styliners are compatible with accessories for almost any marking application.
“Our Styliner pin markers can create permanent marks durable enough to withstand years of wear and tear in even the harshest environments,” says Veronica Wierz, our International Sales Manager. “By offering column-mounted and handheld options and a variety of accessories, we’re able to ensure our customers can use this technology wherever they need to mark, whether that’s in the shop or out in the field.”
We will have a Mark4 and a Stinger at IMTS this year and each will be equipped with one of our many accessory options.
MARK4 8x8 WITH NAMEPLATE CLAMP
Standard Mark4s come in two designs: the 4x4 and the 8x8. Both pin markers have up to 12" of height adjustment but the 8x8 has an 8" x 8" marking field, twice the size of the 4x4's marking field.
At IMTS, we’ll have a Mark4 8x8 with a nameplate clamp. The clamp secures a nameplate in position so the nameplate does not move or rattle around during the marking process. The clamp is adjustable and can hold a variety of different-sized nameplates.
STINGER WITH MAGNETIC FACEPLATE
Our handheld line of Stingers offer three different marking field sizes:
- Stinger – 1” x 2.5”
- Super Stinger – 1” x 4”
- Ultra Stinger – 2” x 4”
Stingers are perfect for marking large, heavy parts that are too difficult to mark with a column-mounted pin marker. Even though they are handheld, Stingers still give you the power, durability, and precision of our column-mounted pin markers in a lightweight, portable package.
At IMTS, we will have a Stinger equipped with a magnetic faceplate. The faceplate uses strong earth magnets to stabilize the Stinger on metal surfaces during the marking cycle for a secure hold and consistent mark.
