Round Type Holders

These simplified type holders were developed by Schmidt. They consist of just three basic parts and are standard tools for roll marking flat parts. These standard knurl type holders are designed to be used in knurl carriages 7288-D2 and 7289-D2.

When used with a Schmidt knurl carriage, they provide perfectly matched tooling for Schmidt Marking machine models 15, 25, 175, 175-MPC, 365, 377, 477, 575-MPC and 577, as well as the Series 9 and 12 pneumatic roll markers. These round type holders are made from high grade, selected tool steel and are hardened throughout using our proprietary in-house heat treating formula. They can also be used in screw machine knurl holders.

Uses stock type

The 7011 and 7326 knurl type holders use Schmidt standard knurl grooved and standard knurl step type - available from stock.

Groove Knurl Type Holders

These standard type holders are available from stock. The dimensions are 3" o. d. x 3/4" thick x 3/4" bore. The recess size is the length of the recess.

Special Round Type Holders

Special knurl type holders with one or more recesses or multiple lines can be made to your specifications. Special combination knurl type holders with solid engraving and recesses for variable legends can also be made to order.
