Model P

The model P hand style type holder is a heavy duty hand marking tool for general purpose marking. The design of the tool features a fool-proof locking mechanism that holds the type or logotype in place and prevents setting type upside down.

The model P is used for multiple character stamping and frequent character changes.

The model P can be used almost anywhere

With the model P, multiple character readings can be applied anywhere in the shop.

Safe and Rugged Design

Made from selected tool steel and carefully heat treated in-house to assure temper, the model P will resist spalling and splitting. The type recess is cut into the holder, but the model P utilizes a hardened steel anvil that the base of the type rests on, assuring longer type and holder life and more uniform impressions.

Uses stock type

The model P uses Schmidt standard straight grooved type - available from stock.

A note about model number nomenclature.

All hand style type holders are numbered with the prefix 2531-C-.

For example, 2531-C-A12 is stock number 032693, a Model P A12 type holder.
