With a wide range of standard machines to select
from, Schmidt Marking Systems can match a machine to your
marking needs to enhance your production process. Most Schmidt
Marking Systems marking
heads
come ready to use on a durable column/base suitable for use
on a workbench, tabletop or portable shop cart. Styliner
heads can also be used as hand held portable systems for
marking large or heavy items, or integrated into your automated
production line. Schmidt Marking Systems Design Engineers
will design a turn-key automated marking system for consistent,
high
quality
parts
marking within your production process. Have an odd job?
Custom marking fields are no problem. Schmidt has engineered
and manufactured Stylus Markers in sizes ranging from .5" x
2.5" to 4" x 26". Marking data can be input
manually, bar code scanned, or downloaded from your mainframe
computer.
What's the difference in a dot peen marker?
Styliner Mark Series Stylus
Markers
...make letters, numbers and even logos on
your part or nameplate by creating a series of overlapping
dot peens with a pneumatically driven carbide stylus, which
functions like a mini jack hammer. The space between dot
peens can be increased for high speed, high productivity
marking, or reduced for a fine quality, continuous line appearance
suitable for finished parts. Our specially designed stylus
assemblies have exceptional working range. Up to .400" surface
level variation is easily accounted for, so head adjustment
or use of a rotation device often is not necessary.
