Schmidt's Styliner® Series of Dot Peen Pin Marking Machines
Styliner® Machine Model Availabilities:
Schmidt's Styliner® series of dot peen marking systems are available as column mounted benchtop systems, portable hand held systems, or as separate marking heads to be integrated into your production line.
Engineering and Machine Capabilities:
All of the Schmidt Styliner® machine series come standard or can be built custom to your part marking application requirements.
Schmidt's standard Styliner® machine marking fields are 1" x 2-1/2", 2" x 3", 4" x 4" and 8" x 8". Schmidt can design and manufacture custom marking fields of any size, and has designed and manufactured dot peen pin markers with marking fields that range in size from as small as .5" to as large as 26".
All of Schmidt's Styliner® pin marking systems are 4 axis capable. The marking machines incorporate “Z” axis capability, for marking depth adjustability, and part height variance. The “Z” axis can be manual or automatic in operation. Optional “R” axis capability is available for rotary marking round parts.
The standard dot peen (Stylus) pin is pneumatic in operation. Schmidt offers an electric operating model as an option.

Column Mounted & Benchtop SystemsThe Styliner® Mark3® and Mark4® are column mounted benchtop pin marking systems. These part marking machines are fully programmable with a wide range of capabilities and are specifically designed to accommodate a variety of materials and part sizes. The Mark3® and Mark4® can engrave flat, curved, convex or concave parts, as well as, irregular and delicate surfaces. |

Portable Hand HeldThe Styliner® Stinger® and Super Stinger® are both robust portable part marking heads that pack the same power of a column mounted system into a light weight hand held option. These portable hand held marking machines are great for large parts that are too big to bring to a marking station. |

Separate Heads for IntegrationSchmidt's Styliner® series of dot peen pin marking systems are also available as separate marking heads that can be integrated into your production line, test cell or robotic application. The separate marking heads can be positioned vertically, horizontally, or inverted to mark any compound angle as required by your application. |

Scribe Marking SystemsScribe marking systems are an alternative to our dot peen pin marking systems for marking applications where work decibel levels would be increased during normal impact marking, (i.e., large hollow parts, sheet steel, automotive vehicle bodies, etc). The drop and drag scribing technology virtually eliminates all sound associated with the marking process. |

- All shuttle feed systems are built standard to accommodate nameplates with a minimum thickness of .020". Nameplate sizes can range from 1/2" wide by 1" long up to 4" x 4". For larger nameplates, custom shuttle feeds are available.

Dot Peen Pin Marking System Controls
Controls for the Styliner® Mark3 and Mark4 marking systems are available in different configurations to accommodate a variety of machine requirements. The MS WinXPe controls, pictured here, combines Schmidt machine controls and a self contained pc with Windows XP embedded on a flash card aboard the pc.
