Engineering and Machine Capabilities:

The Styliner® Stinger® and Super Stinger® are both light weight hand held option that are great for marking large or heavy parts that are difficult to bring to a fixed benchtop marking station.

These standard hand held pin marking machines are supplied with a 20 ft communication cable and pneumatic air line, for portable flexibility in the work environment. Custom lengths are available.

For complete inline integration, our Styliner® Stinger® and Super Stinger® also are available as separate marking heads.

As with any of our Styliner® pin marking systems, the Stinger® and Super Stinger® are complete part marking systems capable of marking 2d barcodes, 2d data matrix, automatic date codes, sequential serial numbers, logos, or any identification marks on to your flat or round parts.

Portable Dot Peen Marking Machine Accessories

The Stinger® and Super Stinger® can be supplied with a wide variety of options and accessories, as well as customized to fit your exact marking application needs. For example, the Stinger® and Super Stinger® can be supplied with an optional two-wheel hand cart complete with LCD keyboard and controls for ultimate system portability. The Super Stinger® is available with an optional programmable “Z” axis capability with 1” marking travel. For more options, please see the accessories tab.

	Styliner® Marking Machine Options & Accessories This brochure discusses the many marking machine accessories and options available on all of our Styliner® pin marking systems. The Stinger®, Super Stinger®. Mark3® and Mark4® can be customized to mark round, flat, convex, or concave parts of a large variety of materials and sizes. Systems can be equipped with nameplate shuttle feed systems, a powered z-axis, rotary devices, reader & verifiers and more.
	Readers and Verifiers Catalog Schmidt's laser marking systems, pin marking and scribe marking systems can all be equipped with 2d matrix and 2d barcode readers and verifiers for an integrated system of industrial 2d part marking. This catalog discusses the Cognex options available including, handheld readers, fixed-mount readers and ID verifiers.

Portable Dot Peen Marking Using the Schmidt's portable Stinger®, first the operator enters a text string of 1/8" high characters reading ''123789456''. Next the operator holds the tool to the part to be marked and initiates the mark sequence by squeezing the trigger on the marking head.
