For serial numbering and constant data

In some marking applications, consecutive numbering is required along with consistant data

(information that changes, but only infrequently). To meet this need, Schmidt Marking Systems semi-automatic numbering heads have some wheels that change automatically, while other wheels are changed manually.

In the photograph above, a combination barrel style numbering head and knurl type holder is used to mark steel cylinders and tanks.

Schmidt Marking Systems offers semi-automatic numbering heads for use in press and roll marking machines, and barrel style semi-automatic numbering heads for use exclusively in roll marking machines.

The semi-automatic numbering head pictured at the left has six (6) automatic numbering wheels for serial numbering. It also has four (4) manually operated wheels for marking data that is relatively constant.
