On non-automatic numbering heads, also known as manual heads,

all of the wheels must be set, moved or rotated into position manually. This type of numbering head is designed for applications in which changes and repeats are common.

Schmidt Marking Systems offers many non-automatic numbering heads to choose from, including the numbering head pictured above - the Select-O-Head.

The Select-O-Head are recommended for applications where all or several of the wheels must be changed frequently. Each wheel has its own elector lever for fast, accurate wheel setting.

Repeat-O-Heads..

..are manually operated. As each wheel is unlocked and rotated individually, all other wheels remain locked. This model Repeat-O-Head includes a 1" x 2" shank for use in press markers - also available with a 1-9/16" shank for use in punch presses.
