Schmidt numbering heads and numbering machines are made to meet your specific serial numbering and sequential part marking applications requirements. Our machine style number heads are available in t-bolt and dove tail mounts.

Shank Style Repeat-O-Head
For infrequent or low-volume numbering applications. An individual wheel release allows you to rotate one wheel without moving any other wheels. Standard heads have 4-7 wheels, each engraved with number 0-9 plus a blank space. Standard character sizes are 3/32" or 1/8".
Model 10 Numbering Head
The industry standard for manual & automatic numbering. Used in press markers or roll markers to indent consecutive numbers in metal and other materials. Standard heads have 5-7 wheels, and character sizes 3/32" to 1/8".
Barrel Style Numbering Head
Used in a roll marking application to mark flat parts, they can be automatic, semiautomatic, or manual. Shown here with a dove tail mount.
Select-O-Heads
Used in a roll marking application to mark flat parts, they are recommended for applications where all or several wheels must be changed frequently. Each wheel has its own manual selector lever for fast, super-accurate settings.
Straight Automatic Numbering Head
Our straight automatic numbering heads are used for roll marking round parts, and are available with a dove tail or t-bolt mount. Standard heads have 5-7 wheels, and character sizes range from 3/32" to 1/8".
Combination Numbering Heads & Type holders
These special numbering heads allow for roll marking two sets of information with multiple possibilities. A changing serial number and a repeating line of data is one example. The type holder section permits easy change of type or logotype.
