Automated Nameplate Marking Machines

Schmidt's pin marking, scribe marking, and laser marking machines can all be equipped with nameplate shuttle feed systems to allow for complete automated nameplate marking.
Schmidt's automated nameplate marking machines can mark permanent date codes, serial numbers, 2D data matrix, 2D barcodes, logos or any sequence of characters and numbers onto your metal tags and nameplates. They can be equipped with reading and verifying systems for your uid marking nameplate applications.
Dot Peen Pin Marking Machines for Nameplates
Our Styliner® Mark3 and Mark4 column mounted pin marking systems cut production time and expense with their programming flexibility and ease of operation. They are ideal for marking nameplates that require serial marking with infinite incrementing or decrementing or for automatic date and time codes. These versatile systems can also mark logos and graphics, and have true radial part marking.
Scribeliner® Scribe Marking Machines for Nameplates
These heavier robust scribe marking systems are ideal for marking large industrial grade nameplates. These systems offer similar marking options as our Styliners, but use a drop and drag pin technology resulting in extremely clear character definition with an ultra quiet operation.
Microlase Laser Marking Systems for Nameplates
These versatile laser systems offer the most flexibility, and speed of all the other systems. Laser marking provides as many options for sequencing and serializing, has better logo and graphic detail, and is also the most aesthetic in appearance for marking results. Lasers are ideal for UID marking such as, 2D data matrix and 2D bar codes. Complete systems of UID marking readers and verifiers are also available.
Standard Requirements: All shuttle feed systems are built standard to accommodate nameplates with a minimum thickness of .020". Nameplate sizes can range from 1/2" wide by 1" long up to 4" x 4". For larger nameplates, custom shuttle feeds are available.
