Laser Marking Systems Software
Schmidt offers a powerful, yet easy to use Windows-based software package for its Microlase® fiber laser marking and diode laser marking systems.
The software package consists of two components:
- The hardware: A dedicated PCI control card inserted into the PC that controls the laser and scan head and allows communications between the software and the laser.
- The software: Installed on the PC that is to be used with the laser marking systems.

All Microlase® laser marking systems are supplied with an easy to use Windows based software package. The software's intuitive interface and graphic editor combine to get you up and marking in minutes.

The software editor will enable you to create simple shapes (lines, circles, ovals, rectangles, etc) as well as, import complex vector based artwork and logos in PLT and DXF format. Bitmapped images (GIF, BMP and JPEG) are easily imported. The software can also be used to create text stings, 2d part marking, such as 1d & 2d bar codes, and 2d data matrix. Serialization is a standard feature of the software.

- Easy click and drag for adjustments of field size, location or orientation
- True radial marking of text
- Support for Open Type, True Type, Type 1, Type 42
AFM, CID, CFF, SFNT, and PRF fonts directly - Unicode and Asians fonts are also fully supported
- Supports object alignment, spacing, resizing and merging
