Federal Firearms Licensed Manufacturer
Schmidt is licensed by the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms)to process firearms for marking identification requirements.
Geo T. Schmidt, Inc's federal firearms license number is 3-36-031-07-2F-02530 and the license type is 07.
Geo. T. Schmidt, Inc has been licensed by the ATF as a manufacturer of firearms other than destructive devices. While Schmidt does not currently manufacture any type of weapons or firearms, the license allows us to work closely with the firearms industry regarding handling and identifying of their parts and accessories.
If you are a manufacturer, importer, or maker of a firearm, we can supply you with a marking system to meet your federal firearm identification requirements. Our laser marking systems and dot peen pin marking machines can mark serial numbers, date codes, place of origin, graphics, logos, 2d matrix and 2d barcodes and can be equipped with 2d readers and verifiers for complete product traceability.
